- Pregnancy Testing Services
Planned Parenthood / Women's Health Services offers free
pregnancy testing. This test is accurate if you have
missed your period by seven or more days. Pregnancy tests
are available on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from
9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am
to 4:00 pm, excluding holidays. Please call ahead for
Monday testing hours. A blood pregnancy test is available
if you have missed your period by three or more days for
$15.
Gynecological Services
Gynecological services include routine visits, evaluation
and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, pap tests
and HIV testing. Expert contraceptive counseling and care
include birth control pills, Lunelle and Depo-Provera
injections, intra-uterine devices (IUDs) as well as
Norplant and emergency (morning after pill)
contraception.
Counseling
Counseling is an important part of our services and is
provided to all patients prior to any procedure. In
addition to individual counseling, your counselor will
review your medical history and explain the consent forms
to you. Your counselor is there to help you if you should
have further questions.
For those who are unsure of their decision an Options
Counselor is available for separate appointments prior to
the abortion appointment. The fee is $30.
A Post-Abortion counseling session is availalbe at no
charge for Planned Parenthood / Women's Health Services
patients. If the abortion was not performed at Planned
Parenthood / Women's Health Services, the fee is $30.
