Abortion Appointment Information Appointments Appointments can be made on Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm by calling 412 562-1900 or toll free 1-800-426-4636. Our telephone counselors will answer questions and advise you of our protocol. A positive test for pregnancy is necessary before scheduling an abortion appointment. Abortions are performed Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Insurance Planned Parenthood / Women's Health Services accepts most major insurance carriers and HMOs that cover gynecological and abortion services. Insurance pre-verification will be done after you schedule your appointment. Payment We accept cash, money order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and MAC cards as forms of payment. Personal checks are not accepted.
